2028 Olympic Legacy
The 2028 Olympic Legacy projects were selected to prepare the City of Long Beach to host the LA2028 Olympic games and to welcome the hundreds of thousands of expected visitors. The approved improvements will promote tourism with an enhanced visitor experience at the Long Beach Airport, Convention & Entertainment Center, the Queen Mary, and several beachfront amenities. While these projects will focus on hosting several competitions scheduled in Long Beach, residents will experience the benefits from these projects for decades thereafter.

Infrastructure Investment Plan Overview
The Elevate ’28 Infrastructure Investment Plan has grown into an investment of more than $1 billion. Powered by over $300 million in voter-approved Measure A funds, along with hundreds of millions more from regional, state, federal, and grant sources, this is the largest infrastructure investment program in Long Beach history.
