Park Improvements
Long Beach is home to over 160 parks, 101 athletic fields, 90 playgrounds, 11 dog parks, two major tennis centers, and much more! In partnership with the Parks, Recreation, and Marine Department, Public Works will build upon the community’s vision for their neighborhood park and collaborate with the community on the design of new playgrounds, park amenities, and field improvements. Check out the 40+ park improvement projects to be completed by 2028.
