In partnership with several City departments, Public Works commits to providing a welcoming, clean, and safe city that residents can be proud of. Such projects will include wayfinding signage across the city, enhancing the water quality of the new Colorado Lagoon Open Channel, installing medians to increase pedestrian safety, and reimagining an industrial terminal freeway into a flourishing green urban haven.

Infrastructure Investment Plan Overview
The Elevate ’28 Infrastructure Investment Plan has grown into an investment of more than $1 billion. Powered by over $300 million in voter-approved Measure A funds, along with hundreds of millions more from regional, state, federal, and grant sources, this is the largest infrastructure investment program in Long Beach history.
